It's been a while...

but I'm back! Lots of things have been happening which has kept me busy. Right now I am trying to do too many things at once and well...I haven't been updating the blog like I planned on doing. Plus I lost my mojo for a minute, okay it was more like a couple of months.

But it's all back!

Working on some cool projects both personal and for business. Will reveal more in later posts. Yesterday while at lunch I was looking through a Scrapbooks etc. Photography magazine (I'm starting to rekindle my love/interest with photography and scrapbooking) and decided to take some pictures with my ultra cool Blackberry...

Reading my magazine @ work...

Playing around with the angle of the camera

My favorite lunchtime beverage!

Enjoying the fountain @ work - wish I could have jumped in...it was HOT yesterday!

~~My Life In Pictures~~

Tonight I was surfing the net and came across this fantastic blog from this Life Artist/Scrapbooker/Designer Ali Edwards and one of the projects that she listed was a "Week in the Life". It's where for one week she documented her life in pictures and words. I thought this was a fascinating idea, so much so that I think I'm going t try it.

So I'm charging up the batteries for the good old camera so I will be ready to go bright and early tomorrow morning! It will be interesting to see what we both discover.

A New Beginning~~

Last week I celebrated my 39th birthday. Usually birthday's are a big deal in my house but not this time; for some reason this year was strange. Well to start things off, my birthday fell on a Monday and I had t go to work. I woke up at my normal time (5:30 am) and got dressed, got the boys up, dressed and off to school. In the midst of the typical morning rush, the hubby gave me a weak birthday kiss and I was off. Throughout the day I received calls from my mom & dad, sister, and aunts all wishing me a happy birthday. I also received emails from co-workers and my crazy boss with well wishes for a happy birthday. Later that evening my mother-in-law (who was in town visiting) came and took me and the crew out to dinner (hubby had to work late). Now I know things probably look pretty good from the outside...BUT again something was missing...something wasn't quite right. I just couldn't put my finger on it...not until tonight.

What was missing is that there was no HAPPY to my birthday.

Was it because I am at the end of my 30's and knocking right at the big 4 0's door?

-or-

Was it because I thought I would be doing something different...something more exciting at this point in my life?

-or-

Was is because I still have that long laundry list of things that I want to do but never got around to doing it?

Maybe it's simply a combination of the above plus a whole lot more. All I know is that something has got to change...and change quick.
